That the council agenda dated April 16, 2024 be approved as circulated and amended.

That consent agenda items 6.1 to 6.28 be received for information and that the regular council minutes of April 2, 2024 be adopted.

Nes That the report for the Massey Drain as prepared by Brandon Widner of Spriet Associates, in accordance with Section 42 of the Drainage Act, be received and adopted.

That the Court of Revision for the Massey Drain be held on May 7, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.

That the Drainage Engineer be authorized to call for tenders for the construction of the Massey Drain with a closing date of Monday, May 13, 2024 at noon.

That the Director of Public Works update report be received for information.

Nes That the Drainage Superintendent update report be received for information.

Nes That the Township of Perth South award the Pickup truck replacement tender to Listowel Chrysler in the amount of $59,928.00 plus HST; And that truck #45 goes to auction for disposal once the replacement is received.

That the accounts payable listing dated April 10, 2024 for the period March 30 to April 10, 2024 in the amount of $58,189.88 be approved.

THAT the Report regarding the Treasurer’s Activity Update for March/April 2024, dated April 16, 2024, be received for information.

That the Report regarding the Building Department Annual Report 2023 be received; and further that the Deputy CAO/Treasurer be authorized to transfer the 2023 surplus to the Building Permit Fee Stabilization Reserve bank account.

Nes That the Clerk's update report be received for information.

THAT: the Report regarding the Council Payroll – March 2024, dated April 16, 2024, including total payroll of $5,310.98 be approved.

THAT: Council considers the drain petition request received from Roger Spriel and further that Council agrees to proceed with the petition and appoints Streamline Engineering Inc. to prepare a report on the proposed drainage works.

That the CAO update report be received for information.

Nes THAT: the Library Services Agreements Report be received for information; and, that council pursue non-resident library cards and reimburse up to 2 cards per household to residents who purchase the cards; and further direct staff to pursue library service options for 2025.

That Council authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to execute the 2024 Huron County Public Library service agreement.

THAT the Report regarding the Mayor’s Monthly Activity for the month of March 2024, dated April 6, 2024, be received for information.

That By-law 19-2024 being a by-law for drainage works known as the Massey Drain be given first and second readings.

That By-law 18-2024 being a by-law to adopt, confirm and ratify matters dealt with by resolution of the Township of Perth South be given first, second, and third readings, and be properly signed and sealed.
