That the council agenda dated July 18, 2023 be approved as circulated.

That Council sends a letter of support in regards to Halton Hills resolution regarding the reduction of municipal insurance costs.

That the consent agenda items 6.1 to 6.30 be received for information and the regular Council minutes of June 20, 2023 be approved.

Nes That the council meeting be adjourned at 9:40 a.m.in order to convene a Public Meeting pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act concerning an application for a zoning by-law amendment for the property located at 165 Avonton Road in the Township of Perth South.

Nes That the Council of the Township of Perth South receive the report dated July 18, 2023 prepared by the Planner entitled Zoning By-law Amendment No. PS-Z9-2023 initiated by the Township of Perth South and affecting the lands described as Plan 398, Pt Lot 11, Downie, Township of Perth South (165 Avonton Road);AND that Perth South Council approve Zoning By-law Amendment PS-Z9-2023.

That the Court of Revision for the Hislop Drain be held on August 15, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.

That the report for the Hislop Drain as prepared by Brandon Widner of Spriet Associates, in accordance with Section 42 of the Drainage Act, be received and adopted.

That the report for the Wiseman Drain - Brinke Culvert, as prepared by Brandon Widner of Spriet Associates, in accordance with Section 42 of the Drainage Act, be received and adopted.

That the Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan update by Chief Skinner and Kim McElroy, Director of Social Services be received for information.

That the Chief Building Official's update report for June 2023 be received for information.

That the Director of Public Works update report be received for information.

That council approves Option 1 in the Director of Public Works report dated July 13, 2023 which states that the Township of Perth South award the Loader replacement tender to Wajax Equipment in the amount of $235,950.00 plus HST; And that loader #08 go to auction for disposal once the replacement is received.

That Perth South council adopt the recommendations 1 through 5 provided in the Paradigm Road 122 and Line 29 Traffic Control Assessment, and that recommendations 1 through 4 be implemented at the adjacent intersection of Road 122 and Line 26.

That the accounts payable listing dated July 14, 2023 for the period of June 23 to July 14, 2023 in the amount of $1,124,318.91 be approved.

THAT Council receive the report prepared by Rebecca Clothier, Deputy CAO/Treasurer, dated July 18, 2023, entitled “Perth South Employment Land Area (Perth Road 120A) Lands – Municipal Affairs and Housing for Community Infrastructure and Housing Accelerator (CIHA) Order” as shown on outlined in red on the attached Schedule “A”; AND THAT Council of the Township of Perth South affirms its support for the development of its employment lands for employment purposes and situated on along Perth Road 120A adjacent to Highway 7 being approximately 90 hectares (220 acres) in area and

That Council receive the report, dated July 18, 2023, regarding the Kirkton Swimming Pool – Update for information.

THAT the Report regarding the Council Payroll – June 2023, dated July 18, 2023, including total payroll of $5,771.69 be approved.

That Council removes funding for Category 3 programs with the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority.

Nes That the Clerk's update report be received for information.

That Council for the Township of Perth South supports the correspondence from The Women of Ontario Say NO with regards to Legislative Amendments to Improve Municipal Codes of Conduct and Enforcement:

THAT the Report regarding the Mayor’s Monthly Activity for the month of June 2023, dated July 18, 2023, be received for information.

That By-law 25-2023 being a by-law to amend the Township of Perth South Zoning by-law for the property located at 165 Avonton Road be given first, second and third readings and be property signed and sealed.

That By-law 11-2023 being a by-law for drainage works known as the Otto Branch of the Boyes-Ballantyne Drain be given third reading and be property signed and sealed.

That By-law 26-2023 being a by-law for drainage works known as the Hislop Drain be given first and second readings.

That By-law 27-2023 being a by-law for drainage works known as the Wiseman Drain - Brinke Culvert be given first and second readings.

That By-law 29-2023 being a by-law to adopt, confirm and ratify matters dealt with by resolution of the Township of Perth South be given first, second, and third readings, and be properly signed and sealed.
