That the council agenda dated December 20, 2022 be approved as circulated.

Nes That the updated Terms of Reference for the Community Policing Committee be adopted.

That the 2022-2026 Committee and Board Citizen Appointments be adopted as presented.

That the consent agenda items 6.1 to 6.14 be received for information and that the regular council minutes of December 6, 2022 be adopted.

Nes That Council adjourn the regular council meeting at 7:07 p.m. in order to sit as Committee of Adjustment.

THAT the Township of Perth South Committee of Adjustment APPROVE Minor Variance A05-2022-PS, submitted by Craig Jacobs, affecting lands as located at 1911 Perth Road 120A to allow the Northerly Interior Side Yard to be reduced from 6 metres to 3 metres.

That the Committee of Adjustment adjourn in order to resume the regular council meeting at 7:15 p.m.

That the Director of Public Works update report be received for information.

That the Drainage Superintendent Update report be received for information.

That the accounts payable listing dated December 16, 2022 for the period December 3 to 16, 2022 in the amount of $1,033,860.03 be approved.

That the 2023 Proposed Capital Budget be received for information.

That the CAO/Treasurer verbal update report be received for information.

THAT the Report regarding a Stratford & District Chamber of Commerce Membership, dated December 20, 2022, be received for information; AND FURTHER THAT the Council approve a Stratford & District Chamber of Commerce Membership; AND FURTHER THAT Council appoint a Perth South Council Representative for the Stratford & District Chamber of Commerce Board.

That Council receives the Closed Meeting Investigator – Contract Renewal Report for their information and further, that Council authorizes the contract renewal with Gregory F. Stewart as the Township of Perth South’s Closed Meeting Investigator and that the Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and enact the Agreement to Appoint a Municipal Investigator.

That the Clerk's update report be received for information.

Nes That Council receives the report entitled Request to Abandon a portion of the Schabel Municipal Drain and further that Council approves By-law 53-2022 to abandon a portion of the Schabel Municipal Drain.

That council approve the same Christmas Bonus for full-time and permanent part-time staff that was given in 2021.

That By-law 53-2022 being a By-law to abandon portions of the Schabel Municipal Drain located on Lot 12 Con 12 of Downie b Ward be given first, second and third readings, and be properly signed and sealed.

That By-law 54-2022 being a by-law to authorize the execution of a renewal of the Municipal Meeting Investigator agreement be given first, second and third readings, and be properly signed and sealed.

That By-law 55-2022 being a by-law to adopt, confirm and ratify matters dealt with by resolution of the Township of Perth South be given first, second, and third readings, and be properly signed and sealed.
