Council

That the council agenda dated June 21, 2022 be approved as circulated and amended.

That consent agenda items 6.1 to 6.13 except 6.10 be received for information and that the regular council minutes of June 7, 2022 be received for information.

That the report for the Clifford Municipal Drains 2021, as prepared by Bill Dietrich of Dietrich Engineering Limited in accordance with Section 42 of the Drainage Act be received and adopted.

That the Drainage Engineer be authorized to call for tenders for the construction of the Clifford Municipal Drain 2022 with a closing date of Friday, July 8, 2022 at noon.

That the Asset Management Plan presentation by Hemson Consultants be received for information.

That the Director of Public Works update report be received for information.

That the Drainage Superintendent's update report be received for information.

That Council receives the report entitled Additional Fuel Costs, dated June 17, 2022, for information and confirms acceptance of the additional costs for the Dust Suppressant and Gravel contracts.

THAT the report, dated June 21, 2022, regarding Perth’s South Asset Management Plan 2022 be received for information; AND FURTHER THAT Council approves the Asset Management Plan as presented; AND FURTHER THAT Council directs staff to include the increase to annual capital contributions consistent with either strategy 1 or 2 presented in the Asset Management Plan during the 2023 budget process and beyond; AND FURTHER THAT Council direct staff to identify options to improve the quality and quantity of asset data, monitor levels of service, and improve monitoring of asset condition and that staff look for grant opportunities to fund this work.

That the accounts payable listing dated June 17, 2022 for the period June 4 to June 17, 2022 in the amount of $1,308,515.03 be approved.

THAT the Report regarding the CAO/Treasurer Activity Update, dated June 21, 2022, be received for information.

THAT the Report regarding the Cancellation, Reduction, and Refund of Taxes in Accordance with Section 357 and Section 358 of the Municipal Act, 2001, dated June 21, 2022 be received; AND FURTHER THAT Council approve the cancellation, reduction, or refund of taxes in accordance with applications made under Sections 357 and 358 of the Municipal Act, 2001 totaling $5,073.45 of which $2,562.24 is the portion attributed to the Township of Perth South and amounts to be charged back to the County of Perth and School Board(s) are $1,604.48 and $906.73 respectively.

THAT the Report regarding an Update on Planning Applications, dated June 21, 2022, be received for information.

That the Clerk's update report be received for information.

That By-law 32-2022 being a by-law for drainage works known as the Clifford Municipal Drain 2022 be given first and second readings.

That By-law 33-2022 being a by-law to adopt, confirm and ratify matters dealt with by resolution of the Township of Perth South be given first, second, and third readings, and be properly signed and sealed.
