Council

That the Council agenda dated December 7, 2021 be approved as circulated.

That the Consent Agenda items 6.1 to 6.13 be received for information and that the regular council minutes of November 16, 2021 be adopted.

THAT the Council of the Township of Perth South receive the report entitled “Perth County Official Plan Amendment # 188” by Rosedale Securities Ltd. (St. Marys Cement) dated December 7, 2021 affecting lands described as Lot 29, Concession Thames, Township of Perth South and known municipally as 4608 Line 5, prepared by the Senior Planner for information; AND THAT the Township of Perth South Council recommend that the County of Perth Council APPROVE Official Plan Amendment #188 by Rosedale Securities Ltd. (St. Marys Cement).

That the report for the Sparling Municipal Drain Extension 2021, as prepared by Brandon Widner of Spriet Associates, in accordance with Section 42 of the Drainage Act be received and adopted.

That the Court of Revision hearing to consider the Assessment Schedule for the Sparling Municipal Drain Extension 2021 be scheduled to be held on December 21, 2021 at 7 p.m.

That the Drainage Engineer be authorized to call for tenders for the construction of the Sparling Drain Extension with a closing date of December 20, 2021 at noon.

That the Council for the Township of Perth South accept the recommendation of Brandon Widner of Spriet Associates to award the tender for the Mills Municipal Drain to Robinson Farm Drainage Limited in the total amount of $249,000.00 plus HST.

That the 2021 Annual Inspection reports for the Sebringville and St. Pauls Drinking Water Systems be received for information.

That the third quarter operational reports for Sebringville and St. Pauls Drinking Water Systems be received for information.

That the Chief Building Official update report be received for information.

That the accounts payable listing dated December 3, 2021 for the period November 13 to December 3, 2021 in the amount of $1,186,329.35 be approved.

THAT the Report regarding the Council Payroll – November 2021, dated December 7, 2021, including total payroll of $5,108.57 be approved.

THAT the Report regarding the Consent Application B19/21 – 2707523 Ontario Inc. – Condition 7, dated December 7, 2021, be received for information and that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute the Acknowledge and Direction document to transfer to the Township of Perth South the lands described within for future road purposes.

THAT the Report regarding the Mayor’s Monthly Activity for the month of November 2021, dated December 7, 2021, be received for information.

That By-law 67-2021 being a by-law for maintenance and repair of drainage works known as the McEwen Municipal Drain - Branches C&D be given first, second and third readings and be properly signed and sealed.

That Buy-law 68-2021 being a by-law for drainage works known as the Sparling Municipal Drain Extension be given first and second readings.

That By-law 69-2021 being a by-law to adopt, confirm and ratify matters dealt with by resolution of the Township of Perth South be given first, second, and third readings, and be properly signed and sealed.
